The successful candidate will work within our Planned Works team and provide a high quality, customer focused maintenance service in compliance with relevant procedures and legislation. You will be expected to be able to work on your own initiative, within agreed performance targets, and possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist all trades personnel to deliver high standard of work within domestic and commercial premises including external surroundings.
  • To deliver material and collect material for disposal, ensuring all waste materials are disposed of correctly.
  • Be responsible for keeping company vehicle in a clean condition ensuring regular maintenance checks are undertaken and any necessary records and stock are maintained.
  • Carry out works in line with Company Procedures and Policies, Health and Safety, Control of Hazardous materials, in line with COSHH regulations and PPE

 Skills and Experience 

Essential:

  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets.

  • Ensure that data and information is updated into the appropriate systems, accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Ability to install service and maintain appropriate systems and appliances in commercial and domestic premises as well as carry out programmed maintenance and servicing in commercial and domestic premises.
  • Conduct relevant, testing, safety inspection reports, electrical certification, fault finding, remedial and rectification works.
  • Provide accurate daily working information on operational activities, electronically or otherwise, in a consistent manner to comply with regulatory and company requirements.

  • Have a high level of experience & understanding of the current electrical regulations including the use of electrical test equipment and testing procedures including the completion of Nic Eic reports and certificates to a very high standard.
