city
responselimited is actively involved in providing career development of young people within our community through apprenticeships and further training. We recognise that apprenticeships are an effective way to develop the kind of staff our organisation requires, and through them we can invest not only in the future of city
responselimited, but equally as importantly in theirs.
We look to employ motivated young people who have the potential to become the workforce and the management of the future, and we provide a foundation from which they can grow and progress in their chosen field. Apprentices have the advantage of learning while they work so their knowledge is up-to-date and because their training is ‘hands on,’ the practical skills they gain are the ones that are right for our specific type of work.
Our aim is to provide these young men and women with a route to a nationally recognised vocational qualification.

Since city
responselimited was formed in 2002 and since then we have offered numerous apprenticeships - in electrical, plumbing, plasterering and joinery. All of our apprentices work towards obtaining their NVQ Level 3 qualifications and some are now working as fully qualified trades people within our organisation in various trades.
In addition to these apprenticeships we have also helped more mature trainees to acquire, or complete a trade in their chosen field, and this opportunity is not only restricted to males as city
responselimited
is wholly committed to equality and diversity at work and wishes to provide career development to those who are motivated and keen to learn.
city
responselimited recognises the advantages of maintaining a well trained and motivated workforce, as such all staff are actively encouraged to increase their skills through structured training leading to recognised qualifications. We pride ourselves on the high levels of multi-skilling throughout our workforce and the high volume of instances of single visit repairs that we are able to deliver.
All new staff have induction interviews with their line manager where their initial training requirements and the type of work to which they are most suited are ascertained. Their probation period includes regular reviews and assessments both site and office based, this is to identify any additional areas where further training and/or assistance is required. It is the aim of

city
responselimited to enhance the career development of all our staff through structured training and subsequent qualifications and thereby the company’s value within the marketplace.
If this sounds like the career path you would like to choose as either, a plumber, an electrician, a joiner or a plasterer then please fill in our online application form and look forward to joining a fast moving, exciting company where we can help you to grow and exceed your own expectations!
